Default Need advice on spacers ASAP!!

I just received my Kic's Project wheel spacers today and just got done installing them. After installing them i got a little nervous due to the fact that i was only able to get 1 set of hub-centric rings since the rings i need for my other set were on back order. So i am running the spacer w/o the ring on the rear wheels. Could this cause any complications if i run the setup like this for a couple of weeks til i can get my other set of hub-centric rings?

I know i sound like like a scared little b!tch but the car is brand new so i am trying to avoid f^^^ing it up

No you will be fine.

We don't run hubrings on any of our race cars and they go thru much more lateral loads than what your car would.

what i've done in the past is rather than move the torque wrench in a star formation, i keep the torque wrench at the lowest lugnut, like the6 position on a clock. then spin the wheel to create a star formation always tightening the nut at the 6 o clock location. This will in a sense make it lugcentric while using gravity to your advantage.

i've always done it this way without hubrings and it's worked everytime. If my verbage doesn't make sense please feel free to give me a call.

Hope you enjoy.

Peace, rishie

Thanks for the info Rishie. The spacers went on like a glove and everything worked out great.

I know i asked you about this before, but i was at my buddies shop and we were talking and he was telling me about a few cars he had seen were the stud broke due to the wheel being off center from the hub.
