Default lip exchange

I have 19X9.5 inch volk GTC's in the rear. Can I switch out the lip with 10.5 inch lip? They are 2 peice rims that are held on by bolts. Also were can I purchase just the lip?

The face of the rim (spokes) can be unbolted and put onto another rim barrel of any width you want.

You can't just get a new "lip," you need the entire barrel (cylindrical part). You will likely have to get that from Volk. I don't know, but it might be better to just get new wheels.

I know the whole "barrel" has to be changed. Does anyone know where I can purchase just this part. This is the beauty of a 2 peice wheel is the option of changing this part in case of damage.

it's cheaper just to purchase a new wheel from volk or any volk vendor.

however, if it was 3 piece there are a few companies that will build the outer rim halve from scratch as long as you give them the plug (product that needs to be replicated). although, wheel integrity could be sacrificed...

I contacted a wheel supplier who called volk today. They stated that volk says you can't change the outer rim with a larger one because you will not be able to balance it. So it looks like I will purchase some larger wheels later in life. Thanks
