Default 255/285 vs. 265/295

Ok, so i been hearing everywhere that "265/295 setup slows your car down". I have a N/A Z and i'm looking to get some 265/295 tires on because i just think they look better. Would this slow my car down alot? If so why?

I'm goin to be runnin the Te Time Attack 19x9.5/10.5 with 22.

depends on your application on what you want to do with the car...i have them and don't notice anything or maybe it's just my imagination..

Performance has been replaced by looking cool a long time ago. Go for it.

If you're looking for performance, 19" rims are already too big. 10mm of tire won't change much at this point.

That’s all I wanted to know. Everyone is saying it's a HUGE difference, I mean I know 19's aren't the best choice but I want 19's. The only Q is the diff between the 2 setups.
