hmmm kk
was just trying to be on the safe side but most people would probably say 275/40 would be fine
ill consider 265/40 too

those tires should work fine...but you could go wider in the front/rear if you wanted to. (I have the same rear wheels and am running a 275/35/18 w/ no problems...I actually like it that the tire buldges out a little - it gives me a bit of protection from curb rash)
