Alright guys, I know this has been beaten to death, and I have actually looked but wanted to get a definative answer.

I was thinking of getting some 265/40/18 tires for my rear tires.

So either a: I can leave the 225/45/18's on up front
or b: I can put the rear 245/45/18's up front.

Now, I went to the tire calc and it shows that the rears will be about .34" shorter in diameter than the front.

I was wondering since it's looking for a staggered setup where the rear tires are supposed to be larger if this will cause major issues.

If so I'll just leave the 225/45/18's up front and sell (if I can) the 245/45/18's. Thanks for the input guys!

 

Correct. The rear tires should be about 10mm taller than the front.

 

Bah, guess I'd better hold off until I can get the 245/40/18's then too. Thanks!
