Default Te37

my next mod has to be on the wheels, and the TE37 is taking my preferences
my question is: "if someone knows!"
What is the best tire size on the Front TE37 in 19x9.5+22 Rear 19x10.5+22
having in mind that i do not whant to compromise the performances because i only have an intake air kit from KN
any one ?????

The "standard" upgrade size would be 245/35/19 up front and 275/35/19 out back. You can go larger but that only increases the weight and rolling resistance which in turn, hurts performance. The good news is that the TE37s are lightweight so that helps offset some of the loss.

Becuase 275 tires are a joke and you need something wide like 10.5 to slam some 305 to keep the power down.

+22 offset is good. if i were you id sacrifice a little bit and make it flush all the way. id do +17 front and +21 rear. 9.5 and 10.5 widths respectively of course.

I have 8.5 (255/35) and 10.5 (275/35) 19 in TE37.

if I did it again? 9.5 (265/35) 18in and 10.5 (285...295/35) 19in.

the front end looks too upright with a 19inch front.

I'm curious why some of you run a 255 on the front and only a 275 on the rear. It seems like it would be more balanced to run a 285 on the rear.

What am I missing?

For me, I decided the 255/35 & 275/35 combo because I know the 245/35 looks WAY too stretched on a 19x9.5. I wanted as close to stock diameters as possible and the 275/35 is the way to go as far as keeping all of my gauges, etc as close to accurate as possible. But even moreso than anything else, with a +22 offset a 285/35 will rub and I am NOT about to roll or cut my fenders.

Lastly (for those of you who care oh so much about lightweight rims...and you do if you're buying TE37's or LE37T's), the 285/35 tire (at least in a Toyo) weighs about 3 lbs more per tire than a 275/35.

These are all of the reasons why I run the 255/275 combo.
