Default Custom Rays Lug Nuts!!!!!

Ok, I was bored, waiting for my new Volks, so I decided to do something different.

All you need is a Silver marker.......

Carb and Choke Cleaner to remove excess paint........

A Rag and a fan for ventilation, (trust me you need it!).......

And you can go from this..........

To this........

Hope you guys like it. The trick is to let the paint settle in the crack of the lettereing and then with the rag soaked in the Choke cleaner, wipe the surface. It's tricky but it comes out nice.

Reviews please!!!!!

Heh that looks pretty cool. It'll come off quick, but still looks cool. I have the same ones. They're light as hell! Btw, how did the black paint not come off?

HAHA I LOVE IT!!! It's like what you do to your gundam models to acheive those body panel lines.

they're annodized black & you can't remove them with regular cleaning solvents.

That is correct! Metal is melted with plack paint in it. I don't think the silver paint will fade right away. It's a permanent paint pen. We'll see. Only time will tell.

Lol. You're totally right. They are fading fast but at least I can touch them up.

About the gold color. I think you'll be ok. If not buy another brand. You're just gonna have to touch it up every once in a while.

Sounds like a plan. How cold does it get in ontario? I went to F1 @ Montreal and I saw all the heaters in front of people's driveways. Must get real cold.
