Well the other wheels that are made by companies such as Enkei can't be JWL+R because JWL+R relates to Rays Wheels only.

And as far as JWL in general, what wheel doesn't have JWL approval? It's required for any aluminum wheels made in Japan for passenger cars

It's pretty hard to top an ISO cert. Six sigma and ISO is where it's at for any manufacturing organizaiton, regardless of what they are making. Big ups to CAT for pioneering six sigma!

On another note, how do you know that Weds are made by Rays?

I don't understand why everyone knocks chrome. Racing wheels are getting played especially for people who buy them and they never see the light of day

Not all Weds are made by Rays but alot of the new wheels are.. Reason I know is that we bring the wheels in as well as Rays wheels.. and I have seen the label and confirm with Rays and Weds Japan..

What exactly do you think makes the wheels ugly?

And what colored wheels are you talking about? The mags?

What makes then ugly? Oh I don't know every part of their design that I can see on the site. Since thats my opinion I don't expect you to have to agree with it. I think they are ugly as **** personally. I don't know what version of the wheels they are but Rays had them in their booth at SEMA. They had a colored lip which unfortunately is incredibly played out to me and looks horrible on the wheel.

American chrome is one thing, but Japanese chrome is a whole other.

American chrome is typically very thick and distasteful. Japanese chromed wheels usually have thin coating and are quite nice.

Here are my chrome Weds, what do you guys think compared to the chromies you have seen on the streets or the ones posted above?

Keep in mind the mounted picture is just a testfit I did a few days ago, I need to do some suspension mods before I can tuck them under the fender.

I personaly think Weds have an awesome finish.

Are those chromed or just polished. I still don't dig that look but I will agree polished looks better...
