Default Another one for the tire/wheel sizing gurus...

yea i know you guys are prolly really erally sick of answer the "will it fit" question, but for some reason everyone asks about a different size, so its hard to search and know that im buying something that fits.. so sorry, but i must ask...

Front:
19x8 rims +30 offset
245/35/19 tires

Rear:
19x9.5 rims +40 offset
275/35/19 tires

also considering a 255/285 setup to make the 35 height a little taller - thoughts on that too please

I have stock suspension but plan on moving to the nismo s-tune at some point, but no lower than that... so here it is, that infamous question...

Will it fit?? and will it fit looking good or sticking out funny or not enough, ect... hehe, sorry again for asking the same question everyone else does... mainly its the offset that really confuses me..

Those will be so sunken in the wheel well it will look like you're rolling around on four galaxy-swallowing black holes.

(picture 10.5" rear Volks with a +46 offset)

so thats where i get confused is with the offset... the bigger the number, the more tucked in toward the middle the wheel is? and if its smaller, like say 20 it sticks out further??

Yes, and the sizes are in mm. With a wheel that is 9.5" wide, the lip will also be recessed .5" more than the average 10.5" wheel that you see on these forums.

Actually, the rear wheel will look about like a 10.5" volk with a +52 offset. One of those wheels with a +20 offset is normally flush with the fender.

So, on a 9.5" wide wheel it would be safe to say that a +8 offset would be perfectly flush with the fender well. If you wanted to have that "flush" look, you should try to get an offset as close to that as you can.

Use one of the calculators above to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders?
