Default got my hiros.. THE HELL I NEED TO PUT THEM ON??

ok so i may be a dork... BUT... i just got my hiros and when i went to put them on... the stock thing-a-magig used to remove the lugs wont fit... went to 2 autozones and 1 petboys and none of them have what i need..
any ideas on where i can go get the tool for this... ?

yeah the stock tire iron won't fit. I'm not exactly sure what you need, I had some sockets around the house that fit just fine

yeah i was lookin for that or a trq wrench but the socket needed for the rim is M.I.A. cant find it anywhere...
u think tire kingdomes got that crap....?

Take one of your lugs to Lowes/Home Depot/Sears and see what fits.

how is he suppose to do that if he cant get the lugs off, otherwise he wouldnt have this prob, lol

Make an impression of the lug nut with playdo. Take the impression to the store. Buy the proper socket.

its a 21mm. I have hiros and my 21mm craftsman socket is a tight fit but works.

Its gonna be hard not to scratch the socket wells, so why try.

if this is the same problem i ran into before, you might need to get the thin wall 21mm as mentioned above.

Craftsman's lug socket set doesn't even come with a 21mm. Can anyone recommend a set that has a deep 21mm with thin walls?

I just went to the hardware store and picked up a 21mm socket and extension

didn't realize this was a difficult task

well, I was looking for a 'set' of deep-well sockets to use on lugs. I help my buddies change therir brakes and stuff. I'm quite handy.

snap-on, cornwell,mac, and matco all sell deep thinwall teflon coated sockets that prevent scratches to the lugnut area
