Default Another Tire Size thread

As a disclaimer I have seen quite a few threads about people asking if such and such tire will fit with such and such wheel. I have also seen the various articles and links posted to try and help these people out and have read them; however, I am still unsure about what tire will fit on my wheels.

On to the point. I have SSR GT3 wheels with 18x9 in front (with +31mm offset) and 18x10.5 in rear ( with +43mm offset). Currently I am running Potenza S-03, 245/40-18 front and 275/40-18 rear. These tires tend to lose traction way to easy with my current power setup and I am looking to put wider tires on wiht a narrower sidewall, but I am still unsure which tires will actually fit.

Currently I am looking at Potenza RE050A with 275/30ZR19 in the front and 295/30ZR18 in the rear or Micheliin Pilot Sport PS2 wiht 285/35ZR19 in front and 305/30ZR 19 in the rear. Will both of these combinations fit?

The answer is easy. Visit the tire manufactures web site. The manufacture will recommend wheel sizes for their tires.
