Default Dubs - there is no substitute. Pics Axis Mods

sup fellas. put on my axis mods the other day. big thanks to solidsnake for the hook up on the fronts and wayneside for selling me the rubber for the rears.
specs:
20x9 in the front w/ 255,30,20s (BFGs)
20x10 in the rear w/ 285,30,20 (Dunlops)

pretty happy with the way they ride and look. sorry if the pics aren't top notch. doing this all from my phone. comments welcome.

I like those wheels I had those when I first got my car, you can see them on the Street Fury dvd ENVY, I got mine dipped in chrome though when I first recieved them. If you go for a big brake kit later you're going to need new wheels though.

Yea, that's what I heard...they don't fit big brakes. I will probably upgrade the rotors and brake lines....but I doubt I'll get them any bigger. Crossdrilled and slotted will work for me. I won't be rollin on these everyday. I will have my stockers on most of the time. Roads in Texas suck.

I understand.. same here. What'd you pay for the Mods? I ended up getting the Milanos for about $1200 shipped.

Thanks guys...appreciate the compliments. I end up getting the Mods for $1500. Bought the fronts from Solidsnake (he had his rears stolen out of his garage). Sold me the wheels and tires for $300 and they still look brand new. Bought the rear rims from Exotic wheels for $700 (everywhere else wanted $475-$500 a wheel. Picked up the tires (brand new dunlop sportmaxx - stickers still on em) from wayneside for $400 + my MB Quartz components. Can't beat that with a stick.

I started this thread with my phone...so I feel you on the camera deal.

Don't think I mentioned it before....but I paid $1500...that's tires n all. Saved about $1200-$1500 buying them the way I did. I couldn't find a good set of new track rims for that. lmao.

nope.. def not. And the weight is about the same as the OEM 18s so not a loss in performance. Are you going to lower it or is it lowered yet? Any camber issues?

bigger rotating mass will slow you down a bit - even with the same weight. Not dropped yet...stock suspension. Didn't roll the fenders either...no rub issues at all. I will upgrade the suspension, but I doubt I will drop it more than 1". The Tein S-techs drop it .5/.8 - think I might go with these springs and Koni Sport (yellows) double adjustable shocks. You can adjust the damper stiffness and ride height (it has a spring pirch that can be adjusted). I had camber issues on the civic. Ingals fixed that. Don't know if I'll have any on this car. I doubt it will be an issue as I will be rollin on stock 18s most of the time. The rule of thumb for camber 10 years ago or so was anything more than an inch drop will need camber adjustment. Not sure if this rule still applies. Cars have changed a bit since then.
