Default Pics of my new winter wheels and tires

I bought these from Jay at Discount Tire Direct for $1005, which included the lug nuts, hubcentric rings, 4 tire replacement certificates and free shipping. I've had them on for over a month now, and have yet to see snow, but I think that may change here in MN this week.

Voxx Ancona wheels: 17 x 8", offset 20mm
Hankook W300 snow tires: 225/50/17 fronts, 225/55/17 rears

I decided not to go with the TPMS which cut the cost by a couple hundred dollars. These tires are as quiet as stock, and although the sidewall is slightly taller, handle extremely well on dry roads. I'll have to report back once I've driven on these in the snow.

I was unable to find a good winter tire that had the same staggered sizes as the stock setup. So while this was a slight performance compromise (the sidewalls are "tall" compared to stock), it cost a bit less and overall I'm very happy with the way they drive. I don't drive aggressively in the winter and this combo feels pretty good.

I'll provide a report after 2-3" but beyond that it's staying in the garage! I'm very interested to see how they perform in the white stuff.

As for pics of my summer wheels and tires -- they're just stock at this stage but hopefully not for much longer.

you need high profile, skinny tires so it was better that you didnt go w/ the stock setup.

I'm not sure "perform" is an adequate word to describe a Z in the snow... Lol
