Ok, I would have done a search but I don't know how the word this right. I'm getting new rims soon and was wondering how do you remove the stud on the front 2 wheels. You know the ones that keep you from installing the back wheels on the fronts. Does it simply un screw or do I have to have some type of special tool to get it off?

 

10mm wrench or socket. Some effort on your part. 5 seconds each side..10 if you are weak . It's done.

 

its also reverse threaded, so its right to loosen and left to tighten. Good luck!

What he said. But it took me like 3 hours to get them off! I had to use a BLOW TORCH.
