Default Year differences

I just recently bought my Z...an 04 Touring...I had thought the wheels were 18's but apparently they're 17's?

Anyways my question is...is there any difference in the alignments or setups across different model years? When I buy new wheels/tires, would I be cool going to the newer-model specs of 18x8 front/18x8.5 rear and 225/45 front 245/45 rear? Or stick with the '04 5AT specs? Right now they're stock...17" all around and 225/50 front 235/50 rear.

I've heard about VDC/TCS acting up under different setups so I'm just checking. Even though its not that big of a difference.

Correct. All automatic 350Zs have 17 inch wheels. All OEM wheels will fit your car. No alignment required.
