Ruff Racing 279's & Tire Pressure System
I had Ruff Racing 279 installed on my '06, but the installer could not reinstall the factory TPMS sending units.
They said that they did not have a stem wrench, which was narrow enough that would fit in the valve opening of the wheel. They said that they could not tighten the stem tight enough so that the stem would not leak.
Has anyone been able to install the factory tire pressure sending units on Ruff 279's?
Thanks.

I don't think you'll get it to work. I couldn't get it to work with my 277's. To use the TPS, you'll need to strap them to the inside of the wheels. There are a few threads with pics on here about it. You need to buy strapping or very large hose clamps, and a bag of plywood clips from Home Depot. You bend the clips to make an L bracket that the TPS sensors can screw onto. You then just use regular valve stems on the wheels.
