Question Tire options for 18x9, 19x10 OEM 06 Rays

So I picked up some brand new 06 OEM Rays like those specked on the 06 track edition. After reading some threads I was thinking about going with either the Goodyear Eagles F1 GS-DS or Falken Azenis. The car sees mostly street use with some autocross and someday I want to try track day. The falkens don't seem to offered in 19". My 2004 Enthusiast has stock suspension and I don't have plans to lower it and don't want any clearance issues. The Eagles do come in the factory size (245/40R18) for up front. In the rear (265/35R19) is factory size. They are offered in either 265/30ZR19 or 275/35ZR19. I was thinking the 275/35's. 26.6 outside diameter versus 26.3 on the factory Potenzas. Would that difference cause any problems? Recommendations from any one with these wheels would be appreciated.

Thanks

if im not mistaken the odometer might be off a bit. I was actually considering going big...in fact u can even put 285 on rears with that wheels and stay spec according to tirerack...and you can do 255 for the front, but going 255 front and 285 rear will alter the stagger fitment of oem because ur comin from 245 and 265...but then again its up to u...im pretty sure theres other disadvantages going that big on front and back...

hey mario, how's it been? i would go with the 275/35/19 on the rears, it wouldnt affect the odometer or tcs system since you're within that 3% tolerance as far as tire print width difference is concerned... the eagle f1 are awesome tires but they dont last long if you daily drive the car. hope that helps

Default Thanks, keep the input coming

Alex thanks for your help with my purchase of these wheels. I look forward to getting them on the car. I will get some pictures posted when its done. What kind of wear should I expect from the E1's? I realize they are a bit pricey. The car only sees 10-12K miles a year. I am open to other alternatives but want to stay close to factory sizes. Just want a good multi-purpose tire with minimum road noise. I don't plan on competition auto-cross. Just having fun at practice sessions once in a while.

I'd go 255/40-18s, 275/35-19s.

As for tires: PS2s, RE050A pole positions, Advan Sports

Does altering the OEM stagger decrease the handling abilities? Seems like a wider rear stagger over the OEM might cause some understeering issues...

With that width, I would do 245/275 or 255/285.
