Default Info. on wheel width vs. tire size

Just looking to see if anyone knows of a site where I can find a comparo of the different size tires you can fit on different width rims.

Like on a 18 x 8 inch rim you can fit 215 wide up to 245 or something like that.

Basically I am looking to buy a set of Rota wheels 18 x9.5 and am wondering how small and big of a tire I can fit.

I think if you go to the tire manufacture's website and look at the model and size that you want they will give you a rim width for the application.

Look Here:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...irePageLocQty=

All HiPo and regular all fall in the same range as far as rim width goes.

Lowrider, that graph at tirerack was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

JDM and davidv, thanks for the help also. I never actually thought of going to the manufacturers website, I was spending too much time on vendor sites. Thanks for the help!
