Angry tire wear

I have 9,000 miles on my Z, I love her to death, but I took it in for an oil change Tuesday and the service guys pointed out my tires were wearing unevenly. They are not able to do an alignment at the current shop ( 2 motnhs until they open the new one) Ok I know I can go else where but my question is Should my tires show significant wear after 9,000miles? I know they are softer tires, but what should I expect out of them and do I have a case to get them replaced by the dealer?
Any one else have an alignment problem? I do not race it (other than an occassional stop light pissing match!) haven't hit anything.... etc...
Thanks
