Default Need help in Nismo wheels

Nissan dealer ordered nismo wheels(sized 18" 8.5 front and 18" 9.5 for rear) for my 350z they put the wheels up but tire size on the fron say 235/45-18 and in the rear it says 245/45-18. But on the nissans web site tire size for the front says 245/40-18 and for rear it is 275/40-18. Did they put wrong wheels Please help me thanks.

Use only the recommended tire size, P245/40R18 (18 x 8.5 wheel) or P275/40R18 (18 x 9.5 wheel).

Yeah what has been recommended is the correct size. Sounds like the dealer either made a boo-boo or tried to screw you over getting smaller tires.

If the dealer installed 225/45 ~ 245/45 tires, I would say they simply remounted your stock tires on your Nismo wheels. I don't know where they got the tire sizes you have though.

If you didn't pay extra for tires then I say no big deal, go our and get yourself the proper sizes as posted above. If they charged you for tires as well, you might want to go back and see if you can exchange them for some proper sizes.

Good luck,
Chris

^+1. If you paid for new tires, they don't know what they are doing and screwed you. I wouldn't want to drive with those narrow tires on there.

Yes thats correct, the Nismo recommended tires sizes are 245 40 18 fronts and 275 40 18 rears, this will keep your VDC/TCS from acting crazy.
