Default sticky wide tires on stock suspension

What ill effects would happen if I put wide sticky tires on the stock suspension? Does it get bouncy? I apologize if this is listed anywhere.

Thanks!

u get better grip and your TCS/VDC might be thrown off by different tire sizes. I don't see why the ride would get bouncy. The tires itself might transmit more road noise.

I have stock suspension and went from the OEM 18" wheels/Potenza tires to 19" LE37T's and Michelin PS2s that were significantly wider than stock (255 & 285).

The ride didn't really change that noticeably. The PS2s are quieter than the Potenzas. Obviously, the grip with the PS2s is significantly better than the Potenzas. I was fortunate in that the LE37/PS2 combinations actually weight less than the stock wheel/tire so if anything, it would have a postive effect on the suspension. Going with heaver wheels and tires will hurt performance and will probably hurt the handling.

I definitely haven't seen that the ride is bouncy as compared to before.
