Default White TE37 on PPW, pics attached....opinion?

This set up was discussed a few years ago, but figured I would revisit...

And before saying "white wheels are difficult to clean" please own or have owned white wheels....

It's different, I know....but I like it and looking for a change.

What do you guys think?

I love how it looks.

But a lot of people are going to say its ricey.

If you like it.. buy it.. you have my support! White wheels FTW!!

PS: I'm also getting tired of the gold and black wheel look on ppw Z's.. so getting whites will be fresh

was never a fan of white rims in general. but the pic of that ppw z with the white volks has changed my mind. It looks SICK as hell. however, i think all that white also makes the car look almost toy car/model-ish. I'd say go for it! itd be different and very sexy.

I have wanted to do white wheels as well, but am not sure if I'd like them for that long or not.

Paint your Works white, actually go to a body shop and have them painted PPW.

That, or powdercoat them. This is 100% about execution--if they are even a slight hue off it will look terrible. I think your car can pull it off.

holla,
ravi

+1 on having your Work wheels painted or powder coated to exactly match. Attention to detail is what counts.

Ironically, when you have picked the perfect wheel; Non-Z-enthusiast will ask you " Are those wheels stock ? "

I personally think that white is one of the very few colors where having the car and wheels painted the same color looks good. I say

I think you should do it. If I had a PPW, this setup is definitely one setup I wouldve done, with +12 all the way around!

my biggest problem so far with white wheels is that they are usually painted using some sort of bright white. that against a nice 3 stage pearl white just makes it fugly.

Thanks for the advice everyone...I've considered taking my wheels apart but worried about torque specs. I'll have to find out the difficulty involved.
