Default Axis Hiro Help

Ok guys i need some help. I am looking to purchase some Axis Hiro wheels but not sure which ones i should go with. I am looking to put a 19" rim on it but not sure if i should go with the 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 or with the 19x9.5 & 19x10.5 setting. I know many of you guys have these wheels and would love to get some of your input on these. Also what offsets should i go with? Will the TPS sensors from my 06 Z fit into the Hiro's without problem or do they have to be banded? Also like the Axis Shine however not sure how that would look. Help me out here guys i need some big help! Thanks

Tom

Most people go with 9.5 front and 10.5 rear so that the wheels look as flush as possible with the fenders. The offset also plays a key role in achieving this appearance. I'm not sure if Axis offers multiple offset for each size wheel.

Ok now if i go with the 9.5 front and 10.5 rear would i have to cut/shave/roll the fenders? I am planning to put in a coilover kit on it soon as well but do not want to have any issues when i install those.

I went with the 19" 8.5 / 9.5 but only because I got a great deal (or I would have went wider). I have +20 offsets front and back and they sit pretty darn flush:

Nice setup, did you instal any TPS or TPMS sensors into those wheels? If so did they fit fine or did you band them?

I never installed them. Too much hassle to remove them from my stockers (they would've had to remove the tires and put them back on). I still have my stock rims sitting in the garage and may do it next time I need tires though. I have had no issues with my TPS alarm going off either....

I didn't get Hiros, but I did get Milanos in 20" and a lower profile tire. I ended up going with 8.5 +15 front and 9.5 +20 rear and did switch the TPMS sensors. I had a shop do it and there were no probs and there's no rubbing.

Now will the 9.5 f and 10.5 r fit without hitting the fenders? Also would kt be a problem with them once i put the coilover setup later?

I am also very interested with a 9.5 F & 10.5 R setup. What would be the optimal offset and tire sizes? I know NOTHING about wheels and tires, but I do remember a thread explaining that if the differential between the two were more than 5% it would incorrectly turn on the traction control? Also anyone have pictures of these wheels on a Black Z?

I went with the 19" 8.5 / 9.5 antracite on a ppw and love the style because my lip in the back isn't too big but not too small. I went with 20' offsets.

Search around in this forum. Axis Hiro is notorious for being soft and cracked.

Yep and a couple of months ago there was a thread going around about the Z with the cracked frame.

Better not buy any Z's.

i'm interested in the same setup and wondering if they will rub, I'm not worried about the wheels cracking, i've heard those were old ones from a factory and the problem has since been rectified
