Need help... Too many choices when it comes down to wheel selection. Here is a list of wheels I like. What do you suggest???

-Advan RG II


-Advan RC II


-Gram Lights 57C (Bronze)


-Gram Lights 57F (Bronze)


-Nismo LM GT4 (Bronze)


-Volk GT-S (Bronze)


-Work CR KAI (Bronze or Gun Metal)

 

Anyone???

 

gold shoes on a black Z is money.. I assume the Z is black.

 

RC 2 is my preference on that list.

 

Are you looking at 18's? If you are, I like the RG II and CR KAI. The Volks are nice, but would look better in 19's since they are the only wheel listed with a large lip.

 

Well Volks are played out IMO, Advans are overpriced Enkei cast wheels. I think the Gram Lights will look small. So that leaves the NISMO and Work wheels.

But you my friend are in the same boat as I. I can't decide what rims I want either.

 

RC II, I am a big fan of those. They are HOTT

I actually like those advans that jet pilot has, cept witth more aggressive offsets.

 

OH yeah!!!! Robert is finally getting some wheels!!! My primary choice for you are the GTS wheels. (Do they come in bronze?) No biasness here or anything Off course after reading your posts you seem like a performance oriented guy so the GTS's may not be the best choice for you because they are heavier. (Forged barrel but cast face. Rears are about 55lbs with tire) My second choice for you would be the Advan RGII in Bronze. Those are some nice performance wheels. Regardless which wheel you go with, get some negative offset on them for some lippage! Here are some pics of my wheels and another on a black G. Both in tit. gunmetal.

 

I'm just looking! I still don't have the CASH for them right now. Trying to narrow my choice down. However... I am looking for a good "performace" wheels and also has the "bling" appeal.

Size wise I want an 18. Thinking 18x9(9.5) front & 18x10(10.5) rear. Just need to figure out what will be best and offset.

 

Well GTSs wouldn't have 18s available until later this year. I think you should stick with around a +22. That will allow you to run wider tires without clearance issues with your Hotchkis and Konis

 

I vote for the 6-spoke Advans or the Work Emotions. Those work emotions are one of my favorite wheels for the Z. I also prefer the gunmetal over the bronze...then maybe some smoked tails, black eyelids...mmmm...
