For me, If a set of 20 titanium 6AL4V grade 5 is selling for $100, I would buy them in a heart beat. That is a steal, because most chrome spline or forged aluminum T6061 are already cost between $55-100 for a set. Strength to weight ratio titanium is 2-3 times better than both materials. Most titanium lug nuts are made open ended, it is for racer in mind to save extra weight and the use of spacers and extended race wheel studs to clear big brake kit setup. Plus, this type of titanium is very hard to strip, the only it will strip if you use titanium made lug socket. And if you worry about the open ended lug nuts make your studs rust, swap out with the forge chromoly racing studs like these. Personal, I am putting my Z on a diet setup, because every ounce does count. Only the people who are into the motorsport, they could understand. But for $100 bucks, it is a no brainer. I got mind for cheap, but not $100.

Yes, those are the actual parts, but the burnt titanium color is at the cone head and the half of lug hex body. I actually own a set of 20 lug nuts. They are extremely light for extended lug nuts and very well made construction material. You won't find titanium lug nuts anywhere for this price. I use them on my car for track days, and have not yet strip a single of them. If any one want a set, I can start setup a group buy for these. Let me know, and I will start sign up people up.

I understand that...that's not the point I'm trying to make.
Actually I really want to hear from someone who has these. There's got to be a reason why some cost $400 & others $100.
1. Do they really improve acceleration? Depends on your measuring device
2. Do they really improve braking performance? No
3. Do they really reduce unsprung mass? Slightly
4. Are there different 'types of so-called' titanium? Yes. Standard is Ti-6-4, but coming from China, who knows what these are really made from

The items I posted with actual pictures are not the cheap made crapy material and construction from China. These are the real deal, titanium 6Al-4V grade 5 made and construct in house, the USA. They are not sell $100 for set of 20. But, if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM, the price is very reasonable for both track oriented and show cars needs.
