Default Problem with Volk GT-7

Alright I got Volk GT-7's on my car right now with stock lug nuts. Today I bought some wheel locks and I tried removing one of the lug nuts with the wrench or whatever it's called that is in the trunk for flat tires. Because of the little space between the lug nuts and the rim, the head of the wrench won't go in and i can't get the lug nuts loose.

what should i do

TIA

The proper tool is a ratchet wrench with thin-wall sockets. You can buy sockets coated with plastic to protect from marring the wheels.
