Unless you go with heavy wheels and tires, you probably won't notice much of a performance hit. I went from 18" OEM wheels/tires to 19" Volk LE37's with Michelin PS2's and dropped about 10lbs off of each wheel/tire. All things considered, I probably broke even in the performance and handling.

I've read where the stock '06 Track model Rays 18/19 weigh more.
front:18X9, 21.25 lbs.
rear 19X10, 29.50 lbs.
Also, Track models weigh more than the base models.
The first Rays were light but not anymore.
What say you? Thanks!

I like it just the way it is. Looks great, plus he can still clear a piece of chewed gum in the road.

I think you are mistaking the tire for wheel gap.

Performance is overrated. Go 20-inches.

you can always go staggered. 18s in the front, 19s in the rear.
