Default Nitto, Toyo, BFG, or Yokohama?

There are a lot of ultra-high performance summer tires and all the reviews I've read seem to contradict themselves. What are some of your opinions on the following tires: Nitto NT555, Yokohama Advan Neova AD07, BF Goodrich G-force KD, and Toyo T1R's

yeah but, i dont plan on cornering hard in the rain, so if i get anything from BF Goodrich it will be the KD's.

BFG KDWs, havent had a chance to test them out in the Summer yet but they performed amazingly even in freezing conditions!

The Yokohama Advan Sport is supposed to be a great tire (possibly my next choice). That is worth looking at. The BFG--very good, though it can be noisy. The Toyo seems to be a very good selection as an all-round tire, though I have no experience with it--many give it very good marks, though it needs more break-in time than most, it seems.

I've really enjoyed my toyo's. It would seem though that any of the tires listed here are a good upgrade from stock.

Depends who is doing the testing. If you look at Consumer Reports and Car & Driver testing, you will find several tires in both of the Top-5 lists.

advan sports are the softcore version of the neova AD07's...so im not going to get those...& KDW's are the softcore version of KD's...im looking at tires that are designed solely for dry cornering performance. Wet traction doesnt particularly concern me much, since i stick to speed limit or below in the rain, & i slow way down for corners

The BFG KD and the AD07's will roast both of the other tires you listed. That's the truth. The T1-R and the NT555 are jokes as far as performance tires go.

Ah, but the challenge is to have it all! Well, at least most of it. So were looking for a street tire in the top 20% in each category: handling & responsiveness (sometimes a personal definition, but you know what I'm saying), low noise, ride quality, durability/relatively low tread wear...and cost that does not break the bank. Yes, there are trade-offs, but that's all part of the search.
