Anyone know the weight of the factory wheels???
Talking about the touring model in general.. but interesting to know the weight of the other wheels available, with or without tires (preferably without)
anyone measure it?
i searched but found no relevant info.
also,

just so this thread doesn't completely go to waste.. i will list some possible terms that the next person may use in their search.
weight of stock wheels, wheel weights, factory wheel weight, OEM wheel weight, stock wheel weight, weight of stock wheels, weight or stock rims..
Whether you guys believe what you read in the mags is one thing, but I'll let you know what one mag said:
The first test of the Z in Road and Track said that the track model employs Rays forged wheels, which save "almost 30lbs of unsprung weight"
30/4 = 7.5 lbs per wheel. So its about what has been suggested on this forum ( a little less).
My question to anyone who has experience with these things:
Is 18lbs for an 18 x 8.5 -10 inch wheel as low as it gets for a forged aluminum wheel? I was told that the TE-37s are among the lightest types of wheels out there, period. Just wondering if there is any credence to that.
