It cost $75 per wheel at the place I use (A1 Chrome in Newington, CT). These guys are the best as far as customer service and they do excellent work at a reasonable rate. Give Claudio a shout if you're interested (860.666.4593) and tell him that Anthony with the gunmetal G35 wheels sent you. This price included included a full sandblasting, two coats of metallic powder (color) and a clearcoat on top. I did have some curb rash and Claudio fixed it and you would never be able to tell where it was screwed up. He welded it then sanded it down for VERY cheap. These guys are awesome!!

Most here seem to be of the opinion powder coat is more durable. I would just love to know what my wheels would look like before I get it done.

I have the 2003 18 inch touring wheels. They are the 6 spokes that look like wagon wheels they are grey in colour. I started a thread in the photo shop section with a pic of them on a car to see if anyone would photoshop them black a semi or gloss to see what they would look like. Heck I would love to see it with the red stripe on the lip too!!!

Unfortunately I suck at PS so I'll leave that to the pros.... I'm not sure what you're referin to when you say "wagon" wheels... Am I missing something? Anywho... Just take the plunge and use them for winter wheel and get a different set of wheels for summer...

I love this thread
Just wondering, for those who have modified the 03-05 Rays 18' rims, what spacers did you decide to run? 20/25, 15/20?
Also, forgive my noob question, but for powdercoating can one only powdercoat the entire rim? I want to have the spokes painted gloss black, but I want a blue colour matched pinstripe (think Time attacks but blue). Is this only possible through painting?

wow some good stuff in this thread!
Has anyone taken the 19" G35 forged rims and polished the lip and made the center gunmetal? I see this being hot but have not found any pics.

what size spacers you need with G rims?
Edit: What spacer size is everyone putting on their stock Z rims to get the backs looking so much better? Is it 15mm? leave the front alone right?
