Not trying to high jack the thread here, but I have had my eye on some SSR Comp-H's for awhile now. I have been able to find only one person on this massive 350z forum who is running this wheel, and he's using a 17" version strictly for his winter wheels.

Looking at TireRack.com, they offer a great deal on these wheels, but the offsets look horrendous: +31 in the fronts and +43 in the rears. Is this the reason that more people aren't using these wheels? The wheel looks similar to a Volk TE37 and they weigh only 21lbs (light for a 19" wheel). Considering how reasonable the price is ($1600, give or take) are there any caveats to running this wheel on a Z?

Thanks

The "COMP H" is a Tire Rack version of the "TYPE-C". One of the reasons SSR Japan stopped making them in 17"+ is because they were too damn soft, they often couldn't hold up to big torque applications in the larger sizes (they don't publically say this of course). SSR Japan has come out with the "Type CRS" which is a 2piece wheel using SSF technology and a 2pc face to strength the wheel. Available in 18" and 19" in Japan they are a pretty good wheel for the Z. They are very light also. Oh yeah, we can get them. Cheers,

Gary
