That makes sense...it's probaby where the idea to stretch thin tires across a really wide comes from, too.

it's the art of lowballing, my friend. if they ever have any good wheels again i'd be more than happy to roll down with you. there's no better feeling than breaking someone by slappin em in the face with only half the cash they were asking for

Nice job daytona~!

You've given your Z the look of a fuel efficient car... skinny azz tires! Peeps are going to roll up next to you asking if its a hybrid, LOL!

And I thought my winter setup at +22/10" in the rear was bad, lol!

GL,
Zquicksilver

You realize you're 255s contact patch has been reduced by about 25% with that much camber. Its a good think you got them cheap, because they're going to last about half as long as they should!

some people just don't appreciate this type of wheel fitment. that's okay, but no need to diss on him, you've already made it clear you don't like his style.

we live in a place where we don't need a winter setup, so we can afford a "show" set and a "go" set, if you know what i mean.

Maybe it was already asked, but why a 40 sidewall, and not 35 or even 30? You just wanted maximum angle on the stretch?

By track you mean Drag Strip right?

'Cuz there's no way you can steer with these things on. Heck, you shouldn't pass tech inspection of a minimaly serious club event!

im running a 255 tire and since it is not as wide as a 275 or 285 it needs to compensate by running a higher aspect ratio to be the same diameter and sidewall thickness.

um...if you say so, i have passed many tech inspections through different orginizations, and they dont seem to have a problem with it and neither does going sideways at >80mph either

i dont really get what you mean by steer though, so i may be misunderstanding your statement.
