Default Decided What Wheels And Tires To Get

I am geeting the MSR Wheels 88r. I got the 19x8.5 in the front and the 19x10 in the back. The back has a 3" lip. The tires are Nitto 555's. The fronts are 245's and the backs are 275's. I was wanting better wheels, but I decided that good tires are more important. The offset on the back wheel is 40. I have read in a few places that spacers can make the lip appear larger. Will I be able to use spacers on this wheel to make the lip larger? I don't know very much about spacers.

The offset in the rear looks very high. You may want to look for one around the 20-30 range so that you don't have to run spacers.

Spacers don't make the lip appear larger, it pushes the wheel outward... toward the wheel well.

I also hear that those Nitto's don't work very well in wet weather.

40 offset is fine in the rear. You can run a 295/35/19 if you wanted with that offset and wheel width - depending on what shocks you run. If you run coilovers that have the spring actually go over the shock, then you're screwed

Spacers will move the entire wheel. Its still the same wheel. If you want to position the wheel, then just get the proper offset and skip the spacers.

In the 19x10, 40 is the smallest offset.
