I like Bridgestone RE050A PP for summer tires, others like Michelin PS2 or Goodyear Eagle F1 are pretty good too

Do you find the Bridgestones pretty quiet? Also, all the tires you listed...do they have a pretty short life span?

I think bridgestones carries the best looking tires, the hard compound tires tends to make the tires look thinner than the soft compounds. I'm really into the overall look of cars and bridgestone potenzas makes a big difference in style and looks of a car.

The F1's are on special right now, still debating on the F1's and RE050 poles. They have the F1's in the size that I wanted for my track wheels:

But look at the reported miles...

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Yokohama guy. But they're still super new.

Bridgestone RE960AS ...there really isn't any other competition in that class besides the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S which isn't nearly as responsive or grippy.

the Goodyear F1 seemed to have won that tire test. If I had the money, they would be my #1 choice.

You guys didn't read what he said...he wants a good "All season" tire. The best all-season tire imo is the Michelin Pilot Sport AS or the Bridgestone Poteza RE960 AS...the Bridgestone has a 45k mileage warranty too. I don't know why you'd want an all-season tire for autox though.

I've never known any Cooper tire to be "junk". Been using them on several of my cars, without any complaints. That's strange...

Oh. You're right. I wouldn't recommend the RT-615s I posted about earlier for all-season. I drove my Z to go snowboarding and the RT-615s were scary with minimal amounts of snow on the road. There was so much snow piled up in my wheel wells when I finally made it. I'll never do that again. They seem ok in the rain so far but in all honesty I haven't driven them in anything more than a slight drizzle, with regard to rain.

Chains required?? Whatever. I can make it.

All-Season: Michelin Pilot A/S

Summer Hi-Perf.: Michelin PS2 or Goodyear F1 GS-D3

I've used both the PS2 & GS-D3 on my Z & my buddy has the A/S on his '04 'vette.

Just wondering how would you compare PS2 & F1?

Thanks
