Anyone buy any wheels from ebay that had any problems and if so what were the problems? What are some things to watch out for. Some of these wheels seem alright, whats your facts.. and yes i know if its on ebay its probably crap!!! Facts plz.. thanks

^^^^Yes buy wheels from a reputable vendor. Otherwise you'll be posting a new thread on the POS wheels you bought on ebay.

 

most of the wheels on ebay unless your paying good money for them are not hub-centric wheels. I will speak from experience and tell you not to buy a wheel that has 10 lug holes in it. This type of wheel relies on the lugs to provide a secure connection to your car. This is not done by the lugs and will cause vibration at high speeds.

What it boils down to, as mentioned above, save your money buy wheels better designed for the car. The rims they are "cutting you a deal" on are junk, or need to go on a diet.

Honestly, you'll be fine getting them off ebay... but a Z deserves more than just a set of 800$ rims. IF anything, stay away from the ruff, and rpm crap.. i was heading that path, but i decided just to save up and get rims that wouldn't hinder the performance of my car.
