Default Removing Wheels w/ Hub Rings

On Saturday I installed my PIAA super rozzas which came with hub centric rings shipped loose. I pressed the rings into the wheel mounting bores and gently tapped them into place making sure that they were seated evenly all around. Then when I installed the wheels w/ rings pre-installed onto the wheel hubs I found that the fit between the wheel hubs and the rings was extremely tight. I was expecting a close-tolerance slip fit (i.e. a tiny bit of wiggle) but what I had was a press fit. So I pushed them on as far as I could by hand, trying to keep the gap between the wheel mounting surface and the hub as even as possible all the way around, then I put the lug nuts on and started tightening each one incrementally to draw the wheel closer to the hub as evenly as possible.

So in the end, I got all the wheels on, and the fit is extremely tight. Actually on the last wheel I got curious so I installed it completely, then I removed the nuts to see if I could pull the wheel off. Well, I couldn't. The thing wouldn't budge. While this isn't a problem immediately, it will be a problem come December when I need to swap in my winter wheels. So my question is: what is the preferred method of removing aftermarket wheels with hub-centric rings that have a close tolerance (i.e. light press) fit? Rubber mallet on the back side, etc.?

Your supposed to put the rings on the Disc first. The purpose of this is so that the rim goes on alighned.
