Smile Sevas Wheels: Quality or crap?

Hey Guys,
Has anybody had experience with Savas wheels? I’m pretty particular when it comes to quality and I defiantly don’t’ want to spend 3k on junk wheels.

Thanks in advance,

yea...I'm not really feeling the Work, Volk or RH look, kinda played IMO. I really want a set of iforge, Asanti or Symbolics but I don't really want to spend 5k on wheels, ya know, lol. The Sevas look nice I just wonder about the quality?

Your right a good wheel is a good wheel but it’s nice to see some of these newer companies (ex. Vellano, DPE) competing for recognition, adds variety and originality, ya know. If not, we would all be driving Z’s with the same wheels, he he.

Bling like those Sevas are? What do you mean by that? Do they only make them in chrome now?

most of the sevas wheels are pretty played out here anyways, and they are copies or very similar designs to alot of other popular wheels already, so you are ending up with "played out" wheels anyways

So back to the question. Are they crap or quality? Has anybody seen a set in person?

Thanks,

Depends on your definition of quality. They are 1 piece wheels that mimic 2-3piece designs and are chrome plated. They are somewhat heavy, and since they are chrome, if you curb/knick one, you'll have to have the entire wheel stripped and rechromed and painted at a substantial cost if even possible depending on the fake rivets.

So…I guess they are a reasonable wheel, not the best, not the worst, more like an interim step, right?

You get what u pay for. THese retail for $1700. Quality is not great, and there very heavy. Might aswell drop and extra grand and you can get used work VS xx or racing harts c4 w/ tires.

Thanks,
A one piece cast wheel made to look like a 3pc wheel does not get my vote.

I'd have to agree, that they're right down there with Konig, although Sevas has a couple good looking styles/finishes/fitments for the Z/G crowd.

I've seen a few pair in person. They look fine, they are nice and shiny because they are chrome plated. They aren't great wheels because they are 1 piece, chrome plated, and heavy. You don't need to see them in person to know that. If you just want the blingy look, they are fine.
