I never thought I would drop my Z but the rear gap started getting to me.

Install will be within the next week.

Specs: Tanabe Sustec GF210, 1" drop in the front, 1.2" drop in the rear.

Since you have a 05' you might as well do the rear spring mod.

There is a post about how to do it. Basically you are cutting the rubber piece that the rear spring sits on.

Shouldn't you run 30 series tires with a 20" wheel bc you run 35s with the 19"...just curious how it's gonna fit after its slammed...you might need new tires.

 

If I have any rubbing issues I'll roll the fenders. Here's some pics of the gap. The rear has atleast a 2 inch gap (give or take a 1/4 inch).

found the thread. Yeah I'll probably pass on that, seems like a bit too much work. I don't think I want to get any lower then what the specs are.

I'm with you there. If you want it lower, you should just get some good coilovers.

 

from what i have seen in the past, you probably dont have to roll fenders provided that your rear offsets are not lower than +19

 

That's good to know ... my offsets are +33 in the rear. edit: actually I was way off. My offsets are even more horrendous.

37F and 38R. I'm definitely looking to get spacers (prob. 15 mm all around).

 

just curious whats ur offset i have a set of axis vip 20"s and 8.5 in the front and 9.5 rear +25 front +20 rear offset anyone have any pics of these please help thanks guys

Dropped it last night, wait till you see how low this car is

 

Hasn't even been 24 hours so they might settle a little bit lower. I'm getting a rear camber kit installed (read camber is doo-doo right now) and an alignment by the end of the week.

Thanks to Alberto and his friend Jay for doing most of the work. Only thing I was productive for was standing on the rotors in order to get the shocks in and out.

Just to point out my Z is on a slope so it's leaning towards the drivers side. Which means the passenger side is sitting higher then it should.

I'll take a few more pics if it dropped a little more.
