18x9 20 offset. No need for wider unless bling is your priority. I'm also on zeals and have cusco sways, cusco front a-arms and battleversion rear arms. I'm lowered 1.5 inches with 1.5 camber all around.
Those who say that the don't NEED wider tires are OK in my books. Go with the 255/40's. You will NOT be disappointed.

I know people don't like buying tires all the time, but why wouldn't you want a staggered set up, it looks much better to have a wider tire on a rear wheel drive sports car...RX8 looks ghoulish with same size skinny tires all the way around.
On that note, why buy a 350 in the first place? if bling is your thing, why buy a very good handling car? The 350 is not a bling machine, nor is it a drag car. It can be made as such, but there are better cars to start with. What it is is a fun car on the street and a great car on the track. A balanced car is more fun everywhere. Being able to rotate is nice, but that's not the main reason.

Then I don't see the reason to have a thicker rear. Neutrality is the name of the game. I like to be able to control the rear, as much as the front.

It's easier to fight that weight bias when you get the same reaction from each corner as far as the limit on the tires. Takes the confusion out one of the (many) factors that determine how the car handles.

For the average Joe Shmoe it's easier to regain control of a car that's plowing straight instead of spinning like a top.

I'm going for 18x10 with 265's in the future.
