confused with tire choice
I have spent weeks reading and trying to figure out what tires will fit, calculators etc. That will not have my VDC kick in. My wheels are 20x8.5 +25 & 20X10 +25. If you have 20's can you post what tire setup you have. Thanks

it's not the size of the rims/tires per se; it's the difference in the size of the rims/tires relative to stock and to each other. the sticky thread at the top of this forum explains it all, much more clearly than I ever could.

Toyo proxes T1R 245/35-20 & 285/30-20. But it would make the front slightly bigger than the rear. A VDC no no. My friend has an 06 with the same setup with no issues. I'm trying to stay away from 30 series if I can.

I was just trying to see if I can run a 245/35-20 for the front. Les schwab says that it would be the same size as the rear 285/30-20 = 26.80. But if it would throw off the vdc its not going to work. There is a $120 difference between the 35 series and the 30 series.
