feel your pain curbed some 18' 5 zigens on my prelude 2 yrs ago , still remember the awful feeling in the pit of my stomach , but hey they're just rims getting a new one / repairing is not that bad

Yeah i can feel all your guys pain been there done that. I was really tired one day bc i work 3rd shift and hadn't been to bed for a long time and was going to my g/fs and the road and curb kind of curved alot infront of her house so me half a sleep pulls next to the curb thinkn i got tons of room well nope scrapped the front volk rim. I was so pissed you dont even know. I lived with it awhile but i just couldnt keep that rim so i ordered a new one to replace it. Now i got the old one on the garage wall for a hose real. haha thats a dam expensive hose rail. But i havent even got close to a curb sence, im extra careful

that is an expensive hose real. I think it's the worst when you do it in a parking lot when there's some people admiring your car, and you make a boo boo right in front of them. I once scraped my bumper in front of other random people in a parking lot checking out my car, I was so pissed off that I peeled off in their face.

I consider it an eventual result of driving a car. I so far in the last 2 years have slightly curbed one rim on a cut off speed bump as the tire slipped off it to the street and the edge of the bump scraped it. I was pissed for a couple hours but like I said it is going to happen sooner or later. I also have a couple dings from pot holes but... Price you pay to play. When my motor blows, now that will have me punching babies. LOL!

Try curbing some TE37 Time Attacks then tell me how you feel afterwards. I almost died. Especially since it happened twice. Well the 2nd wasnt my fault, car was hit and it looks like a curb.

In the UAE we have giant curbs with no slope. Just great hunks of concrete a foot high! People don't curb their wheels, they bounce the whole car into the next lane and cause huge traffic accident

Last night when I was driving to work, I curbed my stock wheels. The ironic part of the story is that I had just read this thread right before leaving for work Needless to say, I'm still dwelling on it
