Need Advice on Tire/Wheel Setup
Yo 11,
Looking @ the following set up:
Enkei RPF1 17"x9" +22 (front)
Enkei RPF1 17"x10" +18 (rear)
255/40r17 (front)
275/40r17 (rear)
Not sure what brand of tire yet...any help? I have the Potenza RE040's now...I'm looking at either the Toyo T1R's, the Falken RT615's, or something similar.
Thoughts??? Suggestions???
Late,
Nick

I guess I want the best bang for the buck when it comes to acceleration/braking/handling/weight savings. I mainly want to make sure that the setup will fit.
Also, I want to make sure that have the centerline of the wheels sit 13mm front/12 mm rear outboard is not an issue for the suspension.
I don't care about wet/winter either. I never drive my car in snow or rain.
Thanks in advance,
Nick

well 615's are great, but will wear quickly and get greasy on the track. Plus will be horrible in the wet. I believe the T1R's have a soft sidewall, so won't handle as well. Michelin ps2's and Goodyear F1's are great, but expensive. Personally, I went with Falken 452's. They are almost as grippy as the 615's, great in wet, cheap, stiff, fairly quiet and predictable. I have no complaints so far.
