Will I need to replace the tires after alignment?
This is related to the tire feathering issue, which I know has been discussed to death but I couldn't find a clear answer on this from the previous posts.
My Z (04.5 MY) is getting very noisy, there is slight accelerated tire wear on the inside edge, nothing major but I assume I am yet another feathering victim? Still at least 50% tread remaining on OEM fronts, so car is going for an alignment check on Saturday (never been done before) before they totally get torn-up.
My question is this. Assuming the alignment is found to be off, will the annoying "jumbo jet" noise stop after it is adjusted or will the tires still make that noise even after the alignment check since they are already (slightly) unevenly worn?

You can switch the tires however you want, but will still have the washing machine on spin cycle roar. The only way to cure the roar is new tires. Firsthand experience here.
