Default Works with spacer

Anyone know whether the combo of 19x9.5 +24, 10.5 +23 will rub if I add 25mm spacers? 245 front tires, 275 rear tires.

Even if I did, it would be a guess until I actually used the spacers. Since I'm not a big wheel dealer, I'm sure it would be easier for someone to let me know.

without spacers thats a really flush fit , then you want to stick then out almost another inch. You make the call. All i can say is it will be La bamba style.

look at post 3 (wired). He's already outside the fender, so unless you want to dial in some aggressive camber, I'd say neg.

18x9.5+12 sure fits back there though.

I just threw out 25mm as the max just to be sure. After calculating, I would need a max of 1/2"-3/4" in the front and 1/2" in the rear. Whatcha think?

10mm in the front and back will give you offsets of +14 and +13 in the front and rear (I definitely wouldn't do anything more than that). If you're dropped more than a inch you'll probably rub. Either way, rolling the rear fenders would be a no brainer.

If you have sick negative camber you can get down to about +5 or 0 offset. I had +5 on my 9.5" rotas with 275 tires on the 06', but I had to roll the fenders and my camber was pretty bad. I think +14 +13 like dutchboy said is pretty respectable.

It will def rub, thats a very agressive offset. You would need to run way stretched tires (no wider than 265) not lowered much with tons of negative camber to get it to work with nearly 0 offsets.

Matt, just buy the BBK, put on the spacers, roll your fenders and dump the car! The negative camber and rolling will fix the rubbing problem. Besides, youre getting new wheels soon anyways!

Wouldn't that be like a 19x10.5 -2 offset? I don't think that is going to work...you should get the SSR Professor MS1's, those are looking pretty sweet with the 18x10 +11

HAHA! The problem is that Work won't give me a definitive answer as to what size spacer is needed in the first place. They're pissed that the place I get the wheels through isn't one of their vendors. I've also talked to authorized Work dealers and their consensus is that it won't work with this wheel no matter the offset due to the shape of the wheel face.

Trust me, I'd be all over them if I could.

I love my S1's and I don't think that the SSR wheels hold a candle to them.

^^^^That is true, but you might have to let them go for a killer bbk. I don't even know if the SSRs will fit with a big bbk...bbk...aka: BIG LIP KILLER!

If Work would tell me what offsets on the S1's would possibly work, I would think about just ordering a new set.

If I didn't have to drop ~$8000 on brakes in hopes that I could get them to work, I'd do it.

Excessive negative camber on a street car is not a good enough compromise for the brake kit...still assuming it would even work.

Guess I'll just have to wait til the RE30 19" comes out and see if I have better luck then.
