I think RE050 came out after RE040. Now, RE050A PP is the newest.

My next question is....Do you think it matters if all the others are RE 040s and I get this RE 050?

If Im not mistaken, the Compound & tred on the 40 is not quite a "sticky" as the 50 and is not as nice for spirited driving.
