Question Offsets and Spacers?!?!?

I'm looking to buy new wheels, and I am concerned with the offsets and spacers. How would a 18x8" with a 37mm offset in the fronts and 18x10" with a 40mm offset in the back look on the Z? I am already aware I would need spacers, but is that a reliable solution to the problem? How many of you are running spacers and whats your experience with them? I dont want to buy something that will end up causing problems in the long run, nor do I want to roll my fenders. The tires would be 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

I've had some spacers on my mustang but never the z. I know that spacers some times causes your wheel bearings to wear out faster because of the extra load you are putting on them by using the spacers. Another thing is that you don't usually want to use spacers on a high horsepower car i mean like a tt z because the torque can snap the spacer and that would not be good. I would say if your car isn't a high hp car you shouldn't have any problems other than maybe your wheel bearings wearing out a little faster than they should but shouldn't be a huge problem.
