Anyone try the Yokohama YK520 series? Somewhat lower end I think (VR rated), but they have a tread life rating of 520!

I was talking to someone at Discount Tire and he said they hold up very good on the Z's that have had feathering issues in the past. Would a higher tread life rating like this make a difference with the feathering problems? Or would you feel like you were off-roading all the time -- with such a hard tire?

Anyone see the RZ on the JUN EVO X? Really like those, wonder if there are good Z fitments.

^^^those look like the RZ in Alvin's pics. the spokes aren't evenly spread out...which leads me to believe it's RZ.

I used to run YK420's on my 2nd gen Integra. They were sticky as hell for the treadwear and price (on the street - I never took them on a track). Is Discount Tire still the only place that sells them?

and i checked, RZ has weak fitments for the Z. Widest they have is 19x10+25...i would've ordered them if they had 19x10+15 like the RS...

If you run appropriately sized tires like a 295 the offsets aren't weak at all.

19X10 +25. I have a fully rolled fender lip and they still rub slightly. How is that a weak offset.

For the price I would probably buy something different, but I adore the RSIIs. I did a quick photoshop of twenzel's car to see how they would look on a black Z...the answer is, yummy.

That's not bad, worst case scenario I'd run a spacer or wider tires.

that's true. i'd just rather not deal with spacers. and as for running 295s....that's just plain overkill for an NA car...

Thats the same rear as the RG's. I believe you can get the +15... I was looking into it for all four corners.

RS's are the best and im thinking that the +22/+25 are great offsets. I am however putting 5mm spacers on when i put my BBK just to make sure they clear the AP's calipers.

Don't waste your money on spacers. The RS wheels will clear any BBK out there with inches to spare.

I think they are exclusive to Discount Tire and whatever their sister company is. I ended up going with the YK520's and they seem pretty good overall (for the price) -- but they're hard as .... I'm feeling even the slightest little bump or pebble! But the grip is good on turns (no SLIP light now!).
