Default Super long wait for wheels???

So I ordered my Volks on April 14 and I still don't have them. They say they might be here this week, but maybe not. Its been so long I barely remember what they look like! If you have after market wheels, how long was your wait???

It depends on the supply available and who you are ordering it through. When I was ordering my Volks GTS half the vendors out there quoted 90 days special order from Japan because they didnt have it in stock. At the end I talked to Rick at Status and he got them in to me within 5 business days.

Maybe a week. Maybe 6 months. Most likely they have taken your money, so what is the incentive to ship?

Some vendors only take about a $500-1000 deposit with the rest due upon delivery - that to me is good incentive to ship

Oh, my heart pumps purple **** for you! I ordered mine on Feb 15th AND still haven't got them. I have been told that I may have them on my car by July 15th. I'm thinking, IF i'm lucky!

Last year, I ordered mine in late March and got them late Oct/early Nov. Though it was a group buy and at no fault to the vendor, thats still a long time. But trust me, they'll be worth the wait!

I waited 4 months for my Volks. They were in what is considered a 'custom color'.

Waited 3 for my first set and then 5 for my second. What pisses me off is that Rays Japan decides to raise prices for the past year. Volk wheels cost a ****load now and they are taking longer to get here too...

I waited 2 months for my work meister 3 piece and they were custom offsets and evrything. Have i mentioned they dropped prices too since i first bought them?

I don't think i'm ever buying a rays wheel again for that matter Sucks to say but there are better priced options out now just as good looking (no not Rota either)

Unfortunately, waiting is pretty common with special or wheels coming from Japan. Volk, Work, etc... all have pretty long waits for "special order" wheels. \

It sucks. I feel your pain. I'm waiting on a set of wheels for my Z right now too.
