Default My review of Falken FK-452's!!

Recent Experience with heavy rain on the Falken FK-452's: I would like to let everyone know how safe i felt...... it was raining like no other on George Bush tollway yesterday evening with moderate to heavy traffic, rain puddles were in every lane, AND I was half BLIND even with the wipers on , rain just made it too hard to see... just like some people describe how the road conditions are when they lose control in the Z, it was like that.....

Traction was solid, and i was able to control the car as i slowly acceled real easy going 50-65 in 5th(this is after 3 months of getting the tires, and they were not perfect, almost real low on tread. The rain brushed up against the tires, and i dont have splash gaurds, so i felt the force. I have been on Michilen ps2's, eagle F1 which have better traction... of course the ps2 is my favorite, and the eagle f1 is its rival, i will defenitely go back to PS2 or F1.

BUT let me tell you for the price the FK-452 is an excellent tire not only in rain conditions but dry too, i felt safe, and my car is also lowered on tanabe gf-210, in dry weather the tire feels nice and smooth on 18 inch oem nissan. So if you don't wanna shell out the extra bills for michilen or eagle f1 falken fk452s are the best substitute imo and discount tire has them.....would buy again....

Had mine for 6000 km, i agree with you.
Very good in the wet. Three sets of Falkens for the price of 2 sets of Eagle F1's - I'd rather use fresh 452's compared to worn Eagle F1's anyday.

The tires say "Made in Japan" on them if you read the sidewall. It also says not to mount on a 19.5 inch wheel either??? They would only put that if someone tried it, right? I'm coming this Sunday to the meet for the North Dallas sunset cruise. Don't know if I'll be going for the cruise at all, I got family coming in town. But will definately be there before you guys head out to say hi and see the cars.

Thanks for the recommendation, im gonna write them down, nice looking tread, i was going to save up for eagle 1's originally, but its dumb for me to buy expensive tires, i chew them up so fast. I dont track, but i have "fun" lol.

For just a DD and not tracking these tires are great, and don't kill the wallet either.
