Quick balancing question.
Hey guys I got a simple question, my car is totally stock, and i noticed today that all of my wheels have a different amount of weights on the rim. If all the tires are the same, meaning same size up front and back, shouldnt they have the same weight? One tire has like one weight and the other has like 5, and up front a rim has like 8 and other has like 4 or something... Im thinking of goign to the dealer to have the rebalanced.. car is only 2 weeks old.
Try balancing just the wheels without tires mounted you will see that each wheel is different...............frequently fix the wheels to bring them back into oem specs [no more than 5 grams on inner and outer flanges].
Michelin are the roundest and most uniform---------new and especially used.
New tires should be rebalanced at 500 miles since they may shift on wheels due to excessive mounting lubrication.
Make sure the tire shop uses the FINE GRAMS setting so you can resolve to a single gram of weight instead of 1/4 ounce [7 grams].

Ok, i think i will take a trip to my friends dealership, he will balance them for free, i have a strong feeling theyre not balanced correctly, one of the weight was almost coming off the other night, my friend told me to leave it, it looked like it was held on by weak rubber cement. It was totally movable.
